Dumpling Cat

About the Project

CLICK HERE to view the video. This is a Blender tutorial I completed in January 2026. It features a cartoon, dumpling looking cat being carried by a pair of chopsticks with camera rotation. However, I decided to put my own style onto the cat and only did the 3D modeling portion of the tutorial, not the animation. This tutorial gave me a recap on what I know about basic modeling, but it also taught me a new skill that I love. I used the grease pencil to give the cat the outlined, cartoon look and used the drawing feature to draw the facial expressions. Because I am a very cartoon-loving person when it comes to digital art, I will definitely use thes tools to create future artworks and models. I alos used the same camera to object view to pan down the model.
